No more RINO politics as usual….

They’re laughing at him, not with him.

These men are ruining our country… and you’re picking up the tab for them to joke around, drink beer and play golf–and become millionaires in the process; they have and will continue to lead luxurious lives, and meanwhile you and your family circle the drain, the equity in your house gone, your economic future dismal and your freedom and liberty destroyed by them and their radical left-wing friends.

(Editor insert from The Hill : In a struggling economy, Congress members saw their wealth grow

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) saw her net worth rise 62 percent last year, cementing her status as one of the wealthiest members of Congress.

Pelosi was worth at least $35.2 million in the 2010 calendar year, according to a financial disclosure report released Wednesday. She reported a minimum of $43.4 million in assets and about $8.2 million in liabilities.

The Obamunist-in-Chief is spinning this mano-a-mano golf summit as an effort to form a relationship with Speaker John Boehner; uh-huh, he’s been in the White house for two and a half year while Boehner has been in the House for 20 years…. and now he wants a relationship??? Now that his poll numbers are in the toilet and the House is safely in the hands of the Bible-clutching, guns-owning and anti-gay rights crowd.

You can tell when Obama’s lying… it’s anytime he opens his teleprompted pie hole… this is just the latest example.

And what has Boehner done exactly… smoked and drank his ass off (it is well-known that at 5 p.m. EST he can always be found on a Georgetown bar stool while his staff works into the evening and eats dinner at their desks.

John Boehner Crying SmokingOh… and  he’s cries… any time, for no reason or for any reason.

If Boehner was a real Speaker, a real conservative and a real man… he would have rebuffed Barry Otero with this:

“Mr. President I appreciate your invitation for 18 holes Saturday, but I must respectfully decline. Our economy is in dire straits, and you have to admit that nothing you have done since before taking office has blunted, let alone improved the crumbling national economy. In fact, your policies have made it worse.

“We have three or four wars going (I’ve lost track over the last eighteen months), and I simply do not believe this is the image we should be presenting to the people who elected us and for whom we work.

“Respectfully,

“J. Boehner”

In this dark hour for America when some Republicans are declining to run for the GOP presidential nomination, saying “it’s not the right time” or “my wife told me I couldn’t“, I don’t what to hear a gawdamned word out of their mouths when the little woman gives them permission or they stumble upon their cojones for 2016.

Now is the time. Patriots must go all in on this election. The stakes are so high, the national calamity so great that it is reprehensible for any so-called conservative to sit this election out.

You, Christie, back off the waffles and make this national primary the best in GOP history.. and that goes for the Danielses and the Huckebees, at this point you’re either with us or the domestic terrorists.

Rick Perry - Miami Heat v San Antonio SpursAnd that brings us to Texas Gov Rick Perry.

‘Stand Up, Stop Apologizing’: Texas Gov. Rick Perry Stirs Rumors of Presidential Run

(New Orleans) “We need to stop apologizing for celebrating life,” the Republican Texas governor bellowed at the Republican Leadership Conference in a finger-pointing, finger-wagging and, at times, bombastic, speech.

“Stop apologizing” for wanting to stem the tide of the “entitlement mindset,” he boasted.

“Our opponents on the left are never going to like us, so let’s stop trying to curry favor with them,” he said, before imploring the crowd to “stand up. Let’s speak with pride about our values. Let’s stop this American downward spiral.”

“It saddens me when sometimes my fellow Republicans duck and cover in the face of pressure from the left. Our party cannot be all things to all people.

“Our opponents on the left are never going to like us, so let’s quit trying to curry favor with them!”

He acknowledged later with a smile, “I’m preaching to the choir here.”

Yes he is… and it’s about time someone did.

There are sound reasons Real Americans are flooding to Texas… moral, cultural, sensible, religious, political and economic reasons. Texas pride is more akin to the national pride we used to have in America… until the GOP gave up and began producing the Doles and the McCains, the Bushes and invented the term “RINO”.

Forty years ago you knew what you got with a Republican presidential candidate, now all you get is democrat-lite.

Perry:

  • was an Air Force C-130 tactical airlift pilot who flew in the U.S., the Middle East and Europe;
  • is an Aggie, a Methodist, an Eagle Scout, and a fifth-generation Texan;
  • served as Texas Agriculture Commissioner and Lieutenant Governor;
  • set a record in the 2001 legislative session for the use of the veto: he rejected legislation a total of 82 times, more than any other governor in any single legislative session in the history of the state since Reconstruction
  • opposes so called “gay rights/gay marriage”;
  • on June 2, 2009, Texas carried out the 200th execution since he assumed the office… we have the death penalty and, as Ron White says, “we use it.”
  • does not believe there is valid scientific proof of anthropogenic global warming.

And, during a run last year when a coyote menaced his daughter’s Labrador retriever puppy, Perry charged the varmint with his .380 Ruger–loaded with hollow-point–and downed it.

That’s the way we do it down here… we are for the most part, minus Austin, the way America used to be, the way American can once again be.

The time is right and Perry is the one.

No, he isn’t the smartest, the one who has “paid his dues”, he didn’t go to the BIG universities, and thank God doesn’t whine and apologize for being an anti-abortion, small government, low tax politician who is big on national defense and a patriotic America.

The old GOP politics no longer matter… we the people have taken back conservatism, taken back The House and a better future lies ahead.

Perry can easily, by doing what he has been doing then last few days, gain massive tea party support that will form a president ticket essentially designed by Real Americans who have just been waiting and pleading for some one step into the role.

Perry can do it… and we have a great opportunity to control him if you will, because he knows we’re the ones who “brung him to the dance” as we say down here in Lone Star– where we started the long road back to that “… shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.”

    Hi Gary – Otis here. I just found your blog, I saw your comment on a thread over at Bob Mack’s. I like what you are doing here and I am going to subscribe after this posting.

    I agree about Rick Perry. He has said that he’s not running, but I believe he is just going to watch what is happening for a while. Maybe see which way the wind blows and put out feelers. I think we are overdue for someone like him, or at least my impression of him so far. His track record looks reasonably good. And – My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys. Carry on, Sir.

    • Thanks for signing up; only a true fan would go with your Nom de Plume.

      Yes… and I reserve the right to call him out for the gutless dog he is if he is just toying with us. It can’t be much of a challenge for him after years as governor… The most powerful legislator in Texas, ironically, is the Lieutenant Governor – a member of the executive branch.

      The Lieutenant Governor’s legislative duties, however, are much more robust. The Lieutenant Governor appoints the committees of the Senate: a considerable power, since committees generally control specific policy areas.

      Furthermore, the Lieutenant Governor has authority in the Senate to assign bills to specific committees. Generally, the various committees have responsibility over specific areas of public policy. A bill dealing with jails would normally be assigned to the Senate Criminal Justice committee, and so on. But the rules for assignment to committee are weak enough that they give the Lieutenant Governor considerable discretion in assigning bills to committee.

      So when the Gov’s outta the state it’s not hard for the the LG to take on both sets of duties.

    The same reasons that Obama & his minions at the EPA and DOJ are trying to kill her–the 10th Amendment. If Texas wins, Obama loses.
