Choke up a bit and take a longer stride….

Back in the late 80s while I was still playing fast-pitch softball, I bought a package deal at my local indoor batting cage; after a winter lay off, it takes a while to get your eye back and coax another season about of a body well beyond its original warranty.

The package came with 15-minute sessions. Typically you hit the pause button to catch your breath, correct mistakes and ask teammates for feedback. On this occasion I was alone and the pause button didn’t work…. so I ended up tiring quickly while  flailing about and get a couple of blisters on winter-soft hands.

It’s like that today, we right-wing bloggers keep swinging and the pitches are fast and unrelenting… and there isn’t be a pause button available until the second Tuesday in November ’12.

To wit: there were so many lies in Barry Otero’s presser yesterday that I thought he’d hired my last ex-wife as a script writer.

  • The “private jet owners’ loopholes” are in place because they are part of Obama’s catastrophic porkulous package.
  • No less than 600 private jets descend on D.C. for the Bamsters’ immaculation.”
  • Everyone in Obama’s family files on the ultimate “private” jet… including his dog. The difference between these freeloaders and the CEO of Corp. X is that the business paid for his ride. You pay for Obama’s weekly vacations and golf trips… at least the CEOs work.

He’s never cared about the truth, but now he just creates the problem and the attacks it, blaming everyone, even Congress, except the real perps…. Obama and His Czars, humm sounds like post-Marxist industrial/punk band.

On everyone else’s work ethic:

President Obama offered some harsh words of members of Congress at his news conference Wednesday, saying, “At a certain point, they need to do their job” and reach a deal to raise the debt ceiling.

“Now’s the time to go ahead and make the tough choices. That’s why they’re called leaders.” He also called for members to “start having to cancel things and stay here” in Washington if there isn’t “substantial progress” by the end of the week.

And what about the pot calling the kettle half-black?

With our Afghanistan casualties the highest in three years, with even über liberals predicting an economic collapse, and the well-massaged unemployment rate above nine percent, Obama just went golfing for the second day in a row, 75th time as president, and 13th straight weekend. And the left jumped “W” for his 24 rounds in 8 years; for you 68 million Obama voters that would be an average of three golf outings per year.

And in a sterling example of national leadership, Obama hosted a dinner party for the National Lesbian Basketball League champions last night.

How does he keep up such a demanding schedule?

And tomorrow the family will  depart for a weekend trip to historic Williamsburg, Va.; and when they get back the Obamas will firm up plans for the annual Martha’s Vineyard vacation.

And in a break from Regime-owned media’s traditional slobbering adoration for Obama…

TIME Editor Mark Halperin Calls Obama A “D**k” On Live TV — Update: MSNBC Suspends Halperin Indefinitely…

Thanks for the tip, Mark… I think I was dropping my right shoulder.

Honesty about Barack Obama is not acceptable on MSNBC! Great Post!

  2. Bob Mack says:

Great analogy re: the pause button, but the line about the last ex-wife is a classic.
