We have long memories ya bloody bastards….

A great catch today by my friend over at Gds44’s Blog via Thomas Lifson at American Thinker.

Kerry spokesman stripped of Silver Star

Back in 2004 Swift Boat Veterans for Truth forced the attention of the MSM and the nation on presidential candidate John Kerry’s very situational integrity, his three very questionable undeserved Purple Hearts for minor scratches and an even more dubious Silver Star.

Like a deer caught on a wind-surfboard, for months Kerry tried to ignore, ridicule, attack and bluster through the avalanche of truth that called into great question the mythology  of the most prominent and highly-decorated Anti-Vietnam Veteran; a 90-day Vietnam veteran in the country.

Fighting back Kerry, brought in Navy Captain and former Deputy Assistant Secretary Wade Sanders (USNR) to denounce the Swifties for Truth as liars and Nazi propagandists; Sanders was a fellow Swift Boat officer (shown below) and also awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.

Ahh, but the Leghorns have come home to the coop:

19361275_640X480[1]Wade Sanders is now in Federal prison, serving a 37-month sentence for possessing child pornography. Now the Navy Times reports that Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus has revoked Sanders’ Silver Star.

The highly unusual decision appears unrelated to Sanders’ felony conviction. A Navy spokesman cited “subsequently determined facts and evidence surrounding both the incident for which the award was made and the processing of the award itself.” John Kerry has to be hoping this doesn’t become a trend.

As one might imagine, the media has ignored this story. Even the Navy Times declined to post its own article online.

Having a slime like Sanders vouch for your veracity and character says more about Kerry than it does about the other fake war hero.

…couple of other things you need to know about Kerry’s henchman and child porn collector:

  • An attorney and Clintonista who specialized in the legal practice of “corporate governance and ethics”
  • “I got caught in the net,” he said; “I’m not the kind of person they were after.” He said his 600 photos and several videos of children were downloaded to research for an article on sexual exploitation of children in foreign countries. “I have no sexual attraction to children whatsoever,” Sanders said. “There was no evil intent.”
  • Sanders claimed he didn’t realize federal child pornography laws barred downloading or viewing the material even by “researchers”.
  • He coped a plea and got far less than the 10 years max.

Granted we cannot extrapolate to Kerry from this pond scum’s lies, deceit and fabrication of his record regarding his military service in Vietnam, but for anyone like myself who has read just about everything I can find on Kerry, this Kerry-Sanders connection is far from insignificant.

And you can bet your I Served in Cambodia Campaign Ribbon and your CIA hat on that.

Which brings us to Hanoi Jane Fonda, now most well-known for her attempts to remain relevant in a society that has assigned her to the “whatever happened to” has-bin of history.

From a blog a few days ago:

“I was to have been on QVC today to introduce my book, “Prime Time,” about aging and the life cycle;…. they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear. I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups.

Four decades later and Fonda still cannot grasp why we still detest her for traveling to the enemy capital of Hanoi (where hundreds of POWS were being tortured) and there donned an NVA helmet and climbed into the firing platform of an anti-aircraft gun used to kill our pilots…. giving the communists a huge propaganda coup and morale boost.

And for good measure she also call us “war criminals”, claimed the POWS were being treated “humanely” and later denounced them as “liars” regarding their torture.

The fact she does not understand why hundreds of graying, middle-aged men would call a third-rate TV snake oil program to demand she not appear is proof enough; instead she blames “radical right-wing groups” which again serves to expose the mammoth disconnect democrats, lefties, communists, socialist and the Obama Regime from America’s military/veteran culture.

They didn’t get it then, they don’t get it now and will never change; that’s why it is immoral to intrust democrats with the lives of our children.

“Remember that $10 you loaned me…? Ah, just forget it.”

It’s amusingly really, left wingers are always outraged to find that their personal behavior does have a very long shelf life. Democrats like Kerry, Bill Clinton, Bill Ayers, and the rest of the “it doesn’t matter, that was a long time ago” crowd, Fonda is shocked and mortified to find Vietnam veterans don’t suffer from long or short-term memory problems.

More from Fonda’s blog: “Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. I am deeply grateful for all of the support I have been getting since this happened, including from my Vietnam Veterans friends.

I think we know who those Vietnam veterans are; and some who claim to be Vietnam veterans, starting with Lt. John Kerry and Capt. Wade Sanders, John “Dirt Nap” Murtha, professional whack-job Algore, fake Vietnam veterans like Richard “Five Deferment” Blumenthal (now a US senator), as well as draft dodgers and Saul Alinski followers, like Bubba and The Pantsuit.Richard Blumenthal

Al Gore in Vietnam, 1971.

Yes, we have very long memories… we cannot, will not forget.

Great post, GA. Will link back to mine. I’m wondering just who in hell Hanoi Jane’s Vietnam veteran friends are (she never said they were Americans, did she?).

Gary, this is a post that’s 40 years overdue..

Several of my author/contributors are Vietnam Vets, I have a hunch this won’t hurt their feeling a bit.. I’m going to borrow some of it and link it back. I’ll schedule it for around noon.. Thanks..

Hanoi Jane can’t represent QVC. She already represents the VC (that’s Viet Cong, for those who failed recent history).

From an e-mail today, by Wes Pruden on the death of Nguyen Cao Ky:

“Ky mellowed in the shadow of his advancing years, and was moved to tears when he returned to his birthplace a decade ago as a guest of the Communist government. “The idea of America – its freedom, financial and educational opportunities, the lifestyle, wealth and beauty of the country and its people remains the envy of the civilized world,” he said on his return. “In Vietnam today even the sons and daughters of those who fought against American soldiers for two decades love everything American.”
