He’s the President of the United States and by now all people worthy of the tile “American” should be embarrassed and ashamed to the point of anger and disgust.
Apparently all but 28 percent of us have reached that point; the others?….. well, evolution takes a very long time even in this cyber-speed world. For those who vote based on race, there isn’t a candle… let alone an age of enlightenment.
Never has the Oval Office been occupied by a more petulant, petty, selfish and undignified personage than Barack Hussein Obama.
Obama’s freshman frat boy prank, demanding an appearance before a joint session of Congress the exact same time as the GOP presidential candidates’ debate in Las Vegas is just the latest example of his total lack of concern for the dignity of the presidency.
To his credit, House Speaker John Boehner acquitted himself with class and with a kindly but firm uncle’s tone to Barry’s childish and narcissistic demand:
“No one in the speaker’s office — not the speaker, not any staff — signed off on the date the White House announced today,” said Boehner spokesman Brendan Buck. “Unfortunately we weren’t even asked if that date worked for the House. Shortly before it arrived this morning, we were simply informed that a letter was coming. It’s unfortunate the White House ignored decades — if not centuries — of the protocol of working out a mutually agreeable date and time before making any public announcement.”
Quickly the least accomplished man in any room he enters realized that he doesn’t know his backside from Bawney Fwanks’ about being president. The Speaker requests and the president accepts…. that’s the way we roll, ya little piss ant.
We know he is not embarrassed by anything he says or does, but his party should be ashamed and anyone who voted for him should be ashamed that they have saddled this great nation with a buffoon who has no regard for the rule of law or the traditions of the United States.
In a single word, Obama is unworthy of the office, and the only remedy the political left can render is to leave him come next November to twist slowly, slowly in the wind… to borrow a vivid phrase coined by Watergate henchman John Ehrlichman who said of FBI Director L. Patrick Gray: “Let him hang there; let him twist slowly, slowly in the wind.”
